Nick Schreck has been educating and assisting retirees with retirement planning for over 15 years. He is well versed in all areas of Comprehensive Retirement Planning. Owning Expedition Retirement, he specializes in Social Security & Retirement Planning, Safe Asset Strategies, Medicare, and Final Stages. Nick recognizes that every current and future retiree has a different story to tell, and enjoys working individually with each client. As an independent agent/advisor, Nick has the ability to be contracted with many companies to avoid using a cookie-cutter approach.
Nick is originally from Germantown, Wisconsin. He graduated from University of Wisconsin – Whitewater in 2003 with a B.B.A. in Marketing with an emphasis on Finance and Political Science. In 2013, he left a management position with a large financial services provider. At that time, he and a colleague founded The Retirement Classroom, an organization that teams up with top professionals in the retirement market to provide educational classes to communities with non-biased information instead of a sales pitch. The Retirement Classroom currently offers classes at over 50 venues in the state of Wisconsin.
In 2016, there became a need for Nick to separate his own retirement planning practice from the larger umbrella of The Retirement Classroom. He then founded Expedition Retirement, providing Comprehensive Retirement Planning to current and future retirees. Expedition Retirement is based around four different directions in retirement: Social Security & Retirement Income, Investments, Medicare, and Final Stages.
Nick currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin with his wife, Nicole, and two children, Ayla and Lucas. When he is not spending his free time with his family, Nick is an avid golfer, enjoys attending Wisconsin Badger sporting events, and traveling to National Parks.
Nick enjoys the opportunity to empower retirees to take control of their retirement planning. He looks forward to learning your specific retirement goals, and helping to execute them.
